Dr. John W. Steeves was born in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. He has lived in Canada, Alaska, California, New York and Massachusetts.

Steeves, DCDr. Steeves attended University of Alaska, Pierce College, U.S. Navy Hospital corps school, Southern California University of Health Sciences (B.S. in Biology) and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (D.C.) He worked from 1979-1981 for Dr. Frank Young in Walnut Creek CA. Dr. Young Was the chiropractor for the Oakland Raiders football team.

Dr. Steeves moved to Massachusetts in 1981 and has had a practice in Pembroke, MA to the present. He uses many techniques, including an electronic adjusting instrument, which is very gentle and does not require any rotation of the spine. He also uses Thompson Technique, which is a low force treatment. All techniques are both safe and supported by science.

Dr. Steeves is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and past treasurer of the South Shore Chiropractic Society. He is licensed to practice chiropractic in California and Massachusetts.
